HOTEL LOCATION

Our headquarters hotel is the Hyatt Crown Center this year.

Note: We have been advised that the name will change to Sheraton on Jan 1 2012. 

STANDARD HOTEL ROOMS AT BOTH THE HYATT/SHERATON AND WESTIN
 - A Double room with two double beds is $100 per room per night.
 - A King room with up to 2 rollaway is $100 per room per night

Rollaways are ONLY available for King Rooms, only at the Hyatt/Sheraton. 

While our contract price did increase, we are going to hold the price on the most popular  rooms at $100 in 2012.

VARIOUS SUITE COSTS

Suites are available on a first come, first serve basis, based on the postmark date of the payment for all the registration and room charges for  thecongregation.  The Westin has more than twice as many 2 bedroom suites as the Westin/Sheraton, so we should not run out.   

The Hyatt/Sheraton has 4 different types of Suites:  

Crown Suites  Have a  queen size bed.  Sleeps 2.  Cost is $150 per night.  See diagram. 

Executive King Suites   Include an enclosed king room.    Sleeps 2. Cost  is $150 per night.  See diagram. 

Skyline Suites Have a murphy bed, a conference table for 6, and attached Double and King rooms.  Sleeps 2 on the Murphy bed , 4 in the Double room, and  2 in the King room, possibly more with rollaways in the King. . Total 8+. Cost is $350 per night. See diagram.   

Kansas City Deluxe Suites  (810 sq ft) are on floors 40 and 41.  Two of the Suites have a Double and a King attached, one has two Kings attached.   Sleeps 4 in the Double rooms and  2 in the King rooms, possibly more with rollaways in the King. No beds in the Suite. Cost is $350 per night. See diagram. 

 The Westin has 2 different types of Suites:

Garden Suites Have a murphy bed, table and an attached Double and King rooms.  Sleeps 2 on the Murphy bed , 4 in the Double room, and  2 in the King room. Total 8. Cost is $350 per night. See video   and hotel web site

Crown  Suites  are stunning at $650 per night for  very large Suite plus 2 bedrooms. Please contact Rick at hotelrooms@hoaltc.org; due to the cost we will not be blocking any without payment.  See video for two different rooms and hotel web site 

HOTEL PARKING AND ROOM CHARGES

There is no parking discount provided by the Hyatt hotel.   Self-parking is $14.50 per day and valet parking is $18.00 per day.

Alternate parking is available at McGee and Pershing in the Pershing Parking garage.  This is a the a business lot, and parking is free if you leave after 6 PM on Friday or all day Saturday.  Because LTC falls over a weekend, attendees coming and parking Friday through Saturday should be able to park without paying a fee.

Oversize parking is located in a business lot at 27th and Warwick.  This parking is free for those needing to park oversized vans and buses.  From the Hyatt entrance, turn left (south) and proceed to the light.  Make a left turn at the light until 27th Street.  At 27th Street, turn right and proceed 2 blocks to Warwick street and the parking lot entrance.

HOTEL ROOM CHARGES

Charges for the hotel restaurant, gift shop, and phone charges can be charged to the room if a credit card is added to the room at the hotel front desk by the adult responsible for the room. No hotel room charges will appear on your bill, since they have been pre-paid. Your incidental account will be settled up when you check out by noon on your last day.

The Hyatt Crown Center is located in downtown Kansas City.  It sits right beside the Crown Center.  Please note that the facilities are smoke-free.
